Robin Skelton
Skelton, Victoria poet and co-founder of The Malahat Review, was born with a broken right thigh, an accident of birth that he would on occasion reference in his poems. Skelton authored more than 100 books. These included not only collections of his poetry, but also novels and short stories, anthologies of the work of other poets, studies in versification, numerous scholarly works of literary criticism, and a number of works on the occult.
